Can I authenticate and log in with a card reader?
Workplace Pure offers numerous possibilities for authentication. Card authentication among other things. Authentication can be done directly via Workplace Pure as well as via an external authentication solution (e.g. SafeQ).
Is information stored permanently on Workplace Pure? If so, for how long?
In principle, Workplace Pure is a platform that processes information about the connected services and makes the results available to the user in various forms. Orders and their results are stored for zero to six days, depending on the setting in the administration menu. If you want to store information permanently, Konica Minolta offers a completely integrated possibility in Workplace Pure with "dokoni SYNC & SHARE".
Can Workplace Pure also be connected to an Active Directory?
Do I need the Security Cube?
The Security Cube is always automatically made available in the cloud variant. An intervention on your part is only necessary if you want to save the user data locally or if you want to connect Workplace Pure with an Active Directory. Further information can be found in the support area. You can download a virtual machine after successful login in the administrator area.
What is the difference between Workplace Pure and Konica Minolta MarketPlace?
Both systems, Workplace Pure and Konica Minolta MarketPlace, are platform technologies from Konica Minolta. While in Konica Minolta MarketPlace, the functions are largely limited to the MFP. Workplace Pure offers the customer a wide range of cloud services. The services can be used both on the MFP and on browser-enabled devices such as laptops, desktop computers and mobile devices (e.g. tablets or smartphones). You can see which browsers are supported in the support area under "Specifications".
Can I also upload my addresses to Workplace Pure?
Since the installation of Workplace Pure, I can no longer use some services on my MFP, such as watermarks and banner printing.
Please check whether the device has at least 4 GB of memory. You may need to upgrade the memory.

What security measures does Workplace Pure take?
Among other things, Workplace Pure is operated exclusively in data centers that are ISO-27001-certified. All information is transmitted TLS-encrypted.
